My Education and Teaching/Professional Background

I started working with youth volunteering for an after-school program in Rochester, NY. Since then, I have worked as a Teaching Assistant in Pittsford, NY, personal Art instructor here in Los Angeles, visiting artist at Penn State, and lead teacher for Summer Art programs at Cranbrook Academy of Art in Bloomfield Hills, MI.

Year I Started at Walden

2019.

I am a Progressive Educator Because ...

Learning is not linear, and interests in learning vary from student to student. I believe all children have a right to education, and everyone is capable of achieving their dreams so long as they are given the resources and opportunity.

What I Love About Walden

All of our incredibly dedicated faculty and staff, and of course our enthusiastic students!

My Joy

I'm an artist and musician. I'm currently illustrating a book on commission, and have been featured on several published records as a drummer. Art is creative and passionate problem solving. There is so much value in the arts, and so I have dedicated my life to them.

Fun Fact About Me

I love games! My favorites are dominoes, spades, gin rummy, chess, pool, and basketball.
