50th Anniversary Story Collection
Walden School is celebrating 50 years of nurturing children's natural wonder!
Since 1970, Walden has provided an excellent progressive education to a diverse student body for children in Pre-Kindergarten through 6th grade. Centering inquiry, experience, and collaboration in our classrooms has helped us send hundreds of young people into the world prepared not for just middle school, but for a well-balanced life and a commitment to social justice and environmental stewardship.
Join us this year to help us remember the past and look towards the future!
We want to celebrate 50 years of Walden with a collection of memories of your experience as a student, parent, guardian, grandparent, or faculty & staff member. Please share with us your fondest, funniest, or favorite memories. Some topics to consider:
- Teacher relationships
- Outdoor education or field trips
- Winter or Spring Sings
- Life lessons
- Favorite spot on campus
- Halloween Carnival
- The Village
- School changes through the years
- Volunteer experiences
- Gala/fundraisers or other Parent Guild events
- Inquiry Fair
- How Walden has impacted you at the time or over time
Write your memory (one or two events or experiences is ideal!) and send it to us for possible inclusion on our website, social media, or publications (we reserve the right to edit for consistency). If you can, please include the year, teacher/person, details of the event etc. that relate to your memory.
Please fill out the form below or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
