The Ponderers' Camping Trip
The Ponderers took a voyage to Carpinteria for the annual Ponderers' camping trip. This annual excursion provides the perfect opportunity for them to flex their independence and take on new responsibilities through their outdoor learning adventures.
Nestled amidst the serene natural beauty, students discover the art of teamwork, resilience, and self-reliance. They acquire practical outdoor skills, from pitching tents to cooking outdoors, while also learning about the Carpinteria Harbor Seal preserve, which is just a couple of miles down the beach from their campsite.
As young leaders, they work together to overcome challenges, and learn the value of cooperation, communication, and adaptability. This experience not only strengthens their connection with nature but also fosters a deeper understanding of themselves and their peers.
