Walden’s 2025 Winter Sing  was once again a joyful celebration of our 4th, 5th, and 6th grade Ponderers. This year’s show, “Shine Through: Songs for the Screen,” came to life through a collaborative process, with students working alongside musical director Dr. Alejandro Lazo to choose, shape, and interpret a collection of film music. The result was a vibrant performance that felt deeply student-owned and full of heart. Our 6th grade Whale Sharks brought extra sparkle to the evening as emcees, introducing each performance with confidence, poise, and humor.

A huge shout-out to Alejandro and the Ponderers for co-creating such a heartfelt and uplifting show! We are also grateful to the faculty and staff who supported the process every step of the way, the families and friends who filled the audience with love and encouragement, and our hosts at the Manoukian Performing Arts Center. What a magical night of music, creativity, and community. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
