Walden Parent Guild presents the 2019 Spring Gala and Auction

The Gala and Auction are the Walden Parent Guild's premier event of the year. We invite you to attend the gala, themed "Inspire. Empower. Ignite." at the South Pasadena Masonic Lodge on May 18, 2019, and bid in our online auction between May 4 and 19.

Please consider supporting the event with an auction donation or sponsorship! Your support helps maintain and enrich Walden School’s Pre-K through 6th grade educational programs, where a child's natural wonder and personal dignity are nurtured through a personalized, developmentally appropriate program that encourages responsibility, initiative, child-led inquiry, ethical behavior, excellence, and environmental stewardship.

Auction Donations

With your help, this year we hope to make the annual Walden School Parent Guild online auction bigger and better than ever before. The online auction will run from Saturday, May 4 to Sunday, May 19, 2019.

Sports tickets, gift baskets, children’s classes, spa packages, restaurant gift certificates, or hosting a tasting party are a few ideas of fun items to donate.

The always-expanding Walden community loves to support local businesses! In recognition of your generosity, your company’s name and web link will reach over 1,000 Walden bidders via our fundraiser website www.waldenschool.net/auction, as well as here on the Walden website. This is a great opportunity to reach families, friends, and alumni of Walden School throughout greater Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley, Glendale, Eagle Rock, Silver Lake, and Los Angeles.

2019 Donation Form

Opportunity Drawing

As part of the Walden Gala and Auction, we ask each family to sell one packet of 20 tickets @ $5 each to family and friends. Or if you choose to, you can buy them and keep them for yourself. If every family sells their tickets, we can raise more than $15,000 for Walden!

The prizes this year are a 13" Macbook Pro, an Apple watch, and a Nintendo Switch. Anyone who buys a ticket has a chance to win one of these items. In addition, we are giving the top three sellers of opportunity drawing tickets one year of hot pizza lunch in the 2019-2020 school year, redeemable for one student per household.

Please be sure to fill out the name and contact information on the ticket stubs, and return them to the Walden front office by May 15 in order to be eligible for participating in the drawing. If you have any questions, please reach out to us via email at auction@waldenschool.net.
